I remember editing this video one early morning when I came across an interview of a man weeping uncontrollably—his wife and only son had been burnt alive while on their way to a nearby hospital in an ambulance. This video stands as our small effort toward peace in Manipur, a reminder of the human cost of conflict and the stories that must be heard.
This episode of Bharat Ek Khoj with Samdish Bhatia took us to Budgam, Kashmir—a place where slow development has been shaping lives for decades. Samdish has this spark for documenting people, and I wanted the edit to match that energy while doing justice to their reality. We leaned into rich, cinematic visuals and layered sound design to pull viewers right into the streets and stories of Budgam. It wasn’t just about showing what’s there—it was about making you feel it.
Two days before the Ram Mandir inauguration, we decided to make a documentary. No big prep, just a voiceover, a mountain of raw data, and an idea. I spent long nights piecing it all together—digging through visuals, building motion graphics in After Effects, and shaping it into my first ever documentary-style edit. We uploaded it to YouTube and… boom. A million views in a day. It wasn’t just an edit—it was a crash course in turning urgency into impact.
For this edit on The Tatva’s YouTube, my goal was to make a historical deep dive feel gripping from start to finish. I worked with pacing that keeps you hooked, subtle zooms to pull you into the story, and clean graphics that add clarity without slowing the flow. History can be heavy — but with the right cuts, it becomes something you want to watch till the end.

Because I believe great work speaks for itself. This freebie isn’t just a “trial” — it’s my way of showing you what your content could look like when it’s brought to life with the right pacing, energy, and style. If you vibe with it, awesome — we can team up for bigger projects. If not, you still walk away with a slick video.
